► X-Scissor: The user slashes at the target by crossing its scythes or claws as if they were a pair of scissors. Probably her most signature move, combining both of her lances with one powerful bug type attack.

► Drill-Run: The user crashes into its target while rotating its body like a drill. Critical hits land more easily. A move Jenova went to great lengths in order to obtain, but found it crucial in order to deal with fire-type pokemon. She uses this move similarly to X-Scissor yet with the rotation of her lances.

► Iron Head: The user slams the target with its steel-hard head. This may also make the target flinch. A typical steel move just so she has one and the only move she has that doesn’t utilize her lances.

► Poison Jab: The target is stabbed with a tentacle or arm steeped in poison. This may also poison the target. Just another nice trick Jenova adds to her arsenal. The ability to poison foes has always come in handy in tight pickles.

► HOBBIES:
► Sparing : She’s always up for a good fight! She enjoys simply using weapons or moves but any kind of practice is terribly exciting to her.

► Helping : Jenova loves to help and learn about people. Honestly just spending time with friends is great for her.

► Exploriing : She’s a very out and about type of bug and loves to learn new things. She tends try to meet new people and discover things whenever she can.

►SWEET : She loves sweets and sweet food although she tends to shy away from it a little to keep herself healthy. Doesn’t mind some sugar now and then though! It’s a guilty pleasure.

Jenova is the type of girl that would instantly throw herself into any dangerous situation despite the consequences, there is never any hesitation in her decision to help another. When it comes to fearful situations her drive to help and/or succeed will overpower any feelings of horror. The bug is extremely driven by the happiness and security of others and in turn, she rarely fears for her own safety. Being able to put others before herself, and being able to worry for their well being and theirs alone gives her the power to be as fearless and reckless as she is.

► DETERMINED
Never doubt the bug’s determination, Jenova as a terrible case of the, ‘never give up’ influenza. Even the impossible is possible to her, and she believes with enough determination and perseverance, she (and anyone else) can achieve almost anything. She’s almost idealistic with how far she’ll push this philosophy. It can sometimes make the bug seem a little too optimistic, but deep down she believes it’s true, she can do anything if she stays determined.

► DILIGENT
To back up her determination Jenova couldn’t go without being a diligent and hard worker. She’ll push herself to the extreme to fulfill her goals and she is always one-hundred percent serious about them, there is no time to rest. Sometimes she simply aims to do what might not even be possible of her but she’ll try anyway. She’ll always try to help as many people as she can, there is no challenge too great.

► DOGMATIC
Jenova, unfortunately driven by the need of others, has a tendency to take some things a little too literally. She treats the law as absolute and any opinion of authorities or respected figures as fact. She has trouble believing that the law can be flawed, or that the opinions of respected figures can be flawed. If anything, it’s quite easy for the Escavalier to fall victim to some crazy and outlandish principles based on who they come from. Although she means well, it makes her susceptible to being used and corrupted. In all honesty she’s not good at differentiating opinion from fact.

► ADAMANT
Although she strives to change this about herself, Jenova has a tendency to try to always go back to her old habits, even if she tries not to or says she won’t. She won’t state it explicitly, but she does, in a way, believe that her idea of justice and that her opinion is above others. She has trouble understanding the struggles of people and why they do what they do when it doesn’t fit her code, which also makes it hard for her to accept their genuine help or opinions. She’ll try to avoid admitting to it, but she’s quite stubborn.

As the pampered princess she is, Jenova doesn’t always quite understand others so easily. She has a knack for assuming that if she can do it, others can too, but doesn’t fully grasp that her life has been quite a breeze compared to others. It’s easy for her to simply not understand as her sheltered ways stick to her quite strongly.

To say in the most friendly way possible, Jenova can be a little, well, dumb. She tries very hard but almost always has difficulty understanding complex concepts and she’s more of a brawn over brains type girl. She works well when given specific instructions (at least half the time anyway), but she’s terrible when being left to the thinking side of things. She prefers to just stab or work her way through issues.

The next heiress to the throne. Jenova was the fourth ‘Jenova’ in her royal family line, at last the kingdom had their new princess.

Jenova’s planet was one almost entirely inhabited by bug pokemon, and in her small, civilized kingdom, she was a karrablast, destined to become an escavalier and destined to rule. To become an escavalier, however, a sacrifice was needed, a shelmet. In her society, the karrablast and escavalier were automatically the dominant race. The shelmet outnumbered the escavalier soldiers and civilians one-hundred to one, however without their cruel counterparts, the shelmet had no means of evolution. A karrablast could force evolution with a shelmet, but not the other way around. This was the tragic state of the kingdom that Jenova was blissfully unaware of under the protection of her family.

It was customary for the young karrablast to mingle with shelmet of her age. One of them would be expected to become her evolutionary partner. The shelmet were quite competitive, their families urged them to try to win the heart of the young princess as early on as they could, for the family of the chosen suitor would be favored by the royal family. there was nothing more valuable amongst the shelmets.

At first, Jenova was amused by the competitive display of the armored pokemon, but in due time, it slowly started to worry and scare her. Jenova become reclusive and drawn back to her own kind. The shelmet unnerved her, she didn’t feel like she could trust them at all, they were only trying to use her, right? And then, she decided. Secretly, Jenova decreed that she never, ever wanted to evolve.

Oddly enough, there was one shelmet Jenova finally started to grow fond of. Her name was Thyone. Whether she was playing hard to get or whether the shelmet didn’t care, she was significantly different from the rest. As Jenova slowly grew cold towards the other shelmet she was forced to interact with, she found comfort in staying close to the one who seemed to dislike her the most. It took some time, but eventually, the two of them formed a bond over a single promise, a thing they both felt quite strongly about. Neither of them would ever evolve. And then, it was only a matter of time before they became great friends.

As the two grew older, however, ideas and notions of evolution were forced upon them. The two girls were very reluctant to evolve, they always had been, and it wasn’t so much of an issue when they were younger, but now, tensions were starting to rise. Jenova’s mother and father pushed for her to commence the ceremony, but she refused. Thyone’s parents needed the support of the royal family financially, and desperately, and for this reason, Thyone was finally starting to change her mind. But how could she betray her loyal friend like this? How could she become what Jenova hated the most?

One day, Thyone confronted Jenova. Everything had been good up until this point, the two of them never fought, never bickered, but Thyone was starting to notice issues she could see Jenova was blissfully unaware of, and once she finally brought up the idea of breaking their childhood promise, Jenova was furious.

Of course, going to her own escavalier and karrablast family and friends for support did not help her see the light of this situation. They too, urged the evolution as she could not postpone it any longer, but if she was unhappy, perhaps it was best to find a new suitor. The young warrior had not been faced with such a tremendous decision before. Would she dishonor her friend and family for her own selfish gain? Or would she face her fears to please both? Deep down, she felt that maybe Thyone had been using her, that their friendship through all these years could be a lie, but for honour, she decided that it had to be done, she would fight Thyone.

The ritual, unfortunately required the karrablast of the pair to defeat the shelmet in battle and strip the armor from their body to use as their own, thus triggering the evolution. Thyone was strong and ready to do this for her family, but Jenova, well, she was never ready for something quite like this.

The battle was fierce and tiresome, the two of them giving it their all on both sides, but the end was drawing near, and the young bug had to do the unthinkable. Fighting back tears and pain as she tore the armor from her friends body, leaving them to write in agony, the process had been completed, she was now an escavalier.

Years passed and the friendship the two bugs once had was nothing more than a means to keep peace between the royals and the lowly shelmets. Jenova was destined to take over the kingdom, and it was in Thyone’s best intention to try to convince the soon to be queen that something was fundamentally wrong with the system. At this point, Jenova was frustrated with being treated like a pawn in this game. Do this for your friend, do that for the kingdom, she had had enough. Without Jenova’s cooperation, Thyone turned away and became a harbinger for revolution. The shelmet kind had been provided with a valiant and elusive Accelgor warrior to spark their hunger for justice.

Jenova didn’t know who was her allies and who were her enemies anymore. Escavalier and young karrablast were struck down, waves of shelmet killed in battle. She fought, but what for? A clash between the two girls was what both sides had been waiting for, a battle between the young and likely new queen against the queen of the shelmet. Thyone was prepared to fight if only for her people, but Jenova forfeited the battle before she could even make a move. Their friendship had not been destroyed by them, but the toxicity of their country. Ironically enough, it was what also brought them together so many years ago.

Finally, Jenova came to a decision. It wasn’t her hands that such raw power should fall into. She was far too inexperienced, indecisive, she didn’t know what was best for her kingdom and had to accept that. She left silently in the night aboard a LFT Drive into the vastness of space. She sought work as a soldier and for about a year or so, followed blindly under the rule of rich space tyrants until she came across...something interesting.

Bounty hunting was a scary thing to the escavalier but...perhaps it would provide her with a way to finally do something good of her own will. After a few small jobs, it became her passion, she realized the thing she had been seeking was to finally do some good to amend for what she considered to be terrible mistakes of the past. She would fight in the name of justice, and punish those who did not abide by the law.

As happy as she now was, Jenova wasn’t one to see the deeper meaning of what she was doing. Sure, people praised her for her work, praised her for saving them from deadly bandits and pirates, but then, she found a wanted poster for someone familiar. It was Thyone.

Shocked by this turn of events, the escavalier went out in search of her childhood friend, only to discover that she had indeed, joined up with a crew of bug pirates. Still, there was no hostility between the two, only questions. Why had Thyone done this? Jenova’s hero of justice she had admired for all this time? It was then that she had another eye opening that she should have had sooner. Pirates, bandits, murderers, they were people too! Although she could not approve of Thyone’s new lifestyle and the lifestyle of the crew, she wanted to...get to know them a little better, promising to not turn them in and even protect them from the law. Perhaps they too, could become law abiding citizens if only they given a chance…

A planet by the name of ‘Vyse’ Struck the bug’s fancy one day. She had heard rumors of strange evolutions and a surplus of criminals, both which peaked her interest. The bug decided it was time to check out this peculiar planet and see what it might have in store for her and her quest for true justice.

► Her shoulder rings and lances can be detached from her body to improve her mobility in day to day situations. She can even attach custom pieces of equipment into the sockets if she wishes, but prefers the ones she gained upon evolution.

► Her moveset has not changed in a long time, and were moves recommended to her over the years to give her the most coverage

► Hates to wear her lances in public situations out of fear of stabbing people accidentally.
