i just look at the sprites of the characters..to know their attire.
then i come up with a pose and draw it.

I'm asking because the body language here totally doesn't fit john imo (woody was a little off as well).
especially his arms and hands. john creates his disk with a flat hand behind his head, kind of aiming with the other.
you have him hold it with his fingertips in front of his head (to me this looks like frieza is controlling his body because that's how he moves).
i know john has a sissy outfit but his original character sketch and movements in game are pretty bad ass. (also his lf1 hp heal/charge was pretty awesome too)

yeah the poses i do are not necessarily compatible with the game movements...just using my imagination. i've never played lf1...was directly introduced to lf2.
