Description ~I decided to post more of a "panoramic" view of this beautiful gold mine to fit with the first photograph that I posted. I still have to learn how properly use an editing program to place multiple photographs together in order to create one huge panoramic scene. This is only one third of the view. I don't know if I am too keen on this photograph- then again I am never really keen on my work. (Wow, stupid me. I just noticed the river cutting through mountains in the left-hand of the photograph.) Regardless, it is a wonderful place to visit if you enjoy nature.

Hello Captain! The ancient Roman Gold mine of Las Medulas is located in Northern Spain. They are located very close to the tiny town of Villafranca del Briezo- that is about an hour and a half from where I live. It is such a pretty place! I wish that I had a better camera to capture the colours better.

Oh, don't worry! Your photo is very pretty.
Thank you for the info!
I'm writing a story and I thought that this location would be a great place to visit. ^^

it's such a beautiful view and an awesome landscape. and the colours... wow!

i'd love to see a big panorama of this, too!
(i've never done a panorama either, we should learn how to do that!)

Thank you so much! I really love nature, so this was such a wonderful view for me to see. The part of Spain where I live is extremely dry and arid, but if you travel about an hour north, you can see some truly spectacular mountains and forests. I would love to see the mountains in Bavaria, Germany!

~Lol, I need to learn how to make a panorama. That shall be the next thing on my list of things to do. I am sure there has to be a tutorial somewhere.

Thank you so much for the sweet comment. I am extremely new to digital photography, and I still have yet to learn how to combine three shots using Photoshop/Gimp in order to make one large panoramic view.

Thank you! It really was a beautiful place to visit. My dinky, little, out-dated camera couldn't capture the entirety of the landscape, but I tried to frame a portion of it that I really liked. I hope to go back again this spring!
