Description
HalloThis is a new Bleach wallpaper I've been working on. Based on a cute scan from MT.
As soon as I saw this scan I immediately envisaged the basic layout and colour it had to be. It was just too cute to be missed!
I vectored everything and made up some bits cut off in the scan.
Ken-chan is badass!
1280x1024 version (reuploaded)

In this context, vectoring is taking the scan (which can be blurry or grainy or not high enough resolution) and basically redrawing it using some digital software like photoshop to get a nice crisp image which can then be used to make wallpapers or whatever.
Usually the vector is made using vector graphics rather than bitmap (bitmap means each pixel has a specific colour etc, whereas vector graphics are described by shapes, strokes and fills). In this way it can easily be resized or the outlines modified without losing any of the crisp clarity.
