This is Gumi, she's a megpoid. I <3 Gumi!! She's one of my favorite vocaloids! I worked two long days on this, it was fun tho. The actual product looks better in real life than under the scanner. Well isnt all of my work like that? haha I drew this mainly because of my perspective study AND I wanted to draw a fanart of her. I'm trying to memorize the matryoshka song. I LUV dat song. Someday I want to cosplay as a matryoshka Gumi. I'll draw a matryoshka Gumi fanart someday later in the future. Anyways I used copics and Prismacolor colored pencils, and I photoshopped the background and edit the traditional media to the background by using Pixlr. I love Gumi's voice, I love listening to her lullabies and soft songs. But anyways this is my favorite song by her: [link]It makes me so happy listening to it! ^^

yes, but copying the pictures don't really help improve your art. I'm not trying to be offensive or anything, I am trying to help. Don't be afraid to draw your own pictures! Lots of artists just draw other peoples pictures because they say their drawings never come out right if they do it on their own, but if you never try, then how will you ever be able to get good at it? I can see you worked hard at it, though, and I am glad to see that somebody can use prismacolor without bashing them xD

Thanks for the info! I didnt trace this though, I only got reference from the pose. This isnt really actual art, it's a part for my perspective study, but thanks, you were not offensive at all. Lots of my other art (especially the ones that are not posted on my gallery) are original work. But thanks anyways, I appreciate your comment.

D : don't get me wrong, I didn't mean trace. When I was younger I used to do it, where you look at a picture and draw it on a separate piece of paper. . . I've just learned that it's better to take in the info and learn through observation. . . it's hard to explain : \ I'm just trying to help, cus getting into drawing pictures like that took me back a few years in my progress, and I really regret it now

I drew it step by step by a tutorial inside the book. Also, I learn through observation AND drawing through tutorials. In my opinion, people can learn by whatever floats their boat, and I dont think it matters how many years people learn how to draw accurately. And just because one of my drawings seem like that, doesnt mean that it effects who I am as an artist,
