I just developed super fast powers lol this was done as fast as I could cuz I forgot about it >.<I thought about not even finishing her, but I love her and she's different than the other entries so....
here's my entry to s contest, to make a Sailor Earth
I fell in love with the idea of having her be from a people who were really down to earth and.....Native Americans are my favorite. Like u have no idea how much I wanna draw more of her now xDDD
NOW info-ish time.
Senshi name: Sailor Unelanuhi (Cherokee for "mother earth")
Age: 22
Eyes: Chocolate brown
Skin: A warm, native american tone
Element: Spirit
Likes: Animals, organic foods, swimming
Dislikes: Destruction, pollution, hating
Strong Points: Adapting to her surroundings
Attacks/Abilities: Nature Call (a call upon creatures and nature to lend a hand), Healing, Puppeteer (a change of emotion to her surroundings), World Quake (an earthquake usually, but occasionally used to summon damage from rock), Radiance Dance (a dance that let's more of the sun's rays come down in her favor)
Personality: Strong and independant, she tends to be quiet around people. She tends to hang around animals more than humans. Very caring and compassionate for everything in the world.

Very interesting and cool concept of a Sailor Earth. Even though I personally do not like the concept of a Sailor Earth because Tuxedo Mask fulfills that role I still think she is an amazing design. Her theme should be Colors of the Wind from the Pocahontas movie.

Lol I agree. When I was a kid, I didnt think of him like that. I just kind of thought of him as Serena's crush/love (I grew up on dubs of course) who tended to save her life cuz she was a whiny crybaby lol but then I got to this age where I finally watched the entire series so now I know the whole story and that he technically is the "senshi" of the earth. I did used to love the idea of Molly being Sailor Earth too. I still kind of do, but now I respect the earth and I feel like native americans were more one with nature than we were so I felt a native american influenced senshi would fit perfect. Plus I love the culture. Even my Β boyfriend is a tiny bit native, like 1/16th but still.Β

I agree I love Native American cultures as well they were so beautiful and full of amazing traditions, customs and mythology. I do like your Senshi as well. As for Mamoru I kind of figured out he was Earth's Senshi when they called him the Prince of Earth. Since the other Senshi were Princesses of their respective celestial objects I thought it stood to reason that he was Earth's Senshi. I do have an idea for Sailor Unelanuhi if you would like to hear it. Maybe she could be the future Sailor Earth like that Chibiusa becomes the future Sailor Moon but since she has no siblings Sailor Unelanuhi could be Earth's Senshi and Endymion's heir.

I like her design, she's very pretty and I really enjoy that you didn't call her 'Sailor Earth,' and tried to stay true to her heritage concept. I also like that you took the Earth symbol (circle with an equal armed cross) and turned it into a heart design that's a cute detail. Do the gems on the staff have any significance? Or just decoration?
The only thing I could contribute is that if you're trying to keep her as a particular lineage (I'm assuming Cherokee due to her name) then you should look into Cherokee patterns, and special attire for celebrations to incorporate those little details. And the only reason I'm pointing this out is because I am Cherokee, Unelanuhi is actually a sun goddess in Cherokee mythology - she did, however, make the earth for her children...or have a hand in creating the earth, depending on the oral tradition that was passed down. & I'm only pointing this out because I really love the fact that you added "radiance dance" as it ties in well with the actual myth and everything else you've created.
I really, really, enjoy this character design. She makes me happy.

There are so few entries with that unique look something beyond the elemental earth look ya know...beyond the blue and green...beyond the name Earth...maybe it'll get put in soon...I mean the deadline was today...and by my clock Aug 1 ain't over yet. *crosses fingers*
