I play as a sub-class of Medic off and on: The Psycho Medic.
Heals and blindly charges into battle at random points. Mostly doesΒ the "charging into battle randomly"Β when Halloween is enabled. Bone-saw is main weapon along with the crossbow for ranged. Also, don't expect a Psycho Medic to pop on you. Chances are, they will just leave you high and dry.
One time, I was playing a half normal/half Psycho medic and was hunting down this spy.....he basically told me to "go heal my team and let someone else spycheck". I ignored him and continued to hunt him down. I don't trust my team to protect my back so I do it myself. Actually.....when I play medic, I don't trust my team at all to keep me safe so I'm very jumpy, very untrustworthy and generally a non-pocket type medic. I heal everyone and only with sentries will I pocket.
Either way, this is accurate on my Psycho Medic adventures. Although sometimes, the spy usually gets a Crit Saw to the face when I corner them.

I backstab a demoman
then a demoman comes charging at me then decaptiates me XD
