You all remember that easily forgettable monster, which was pretty much a blue clone of the blargg in Yoshi's Island, don't you? As you might already know I absolutely despise the way the blargg is designed in that game and much prefer the Super Mario World model. So I thought, if the blargg and nep-enut look identical in Yoshi's Island wouldn't they look the same elsewhere?Related content

I understand your opinion about the blarggs, and I also think that they look better as freaky hippopotamus-stegosauruses. Iยดm planning to redesign most "Yoshiยดs Island"-creatures into more realistic-looking variants, and I am going to draw the blarggs and nep-enuts in the way we both like it. What do you think about that?

I think the blarggs that appeared in the Mario Galaxy games were a decent combination of the 2 styles. They used the simple shape of the YI ones with the classic facial features of the smw ones.
As for redesigning them, y'all can draw them however you please
