great work here! sometimes expressions can be difficult to convey in profile, but you did an excellent job of it in this piece. and I've always been of the opinion that so long as the subject is recognizable, colors can be whatever complement each other, and bring out the best of the picture as a whole. And your colors do that very well here!

This is gorgeous! I love that you always use interesting color schemes in your work--it's what makes your work yours. People scorned Monet's style at first, too. Now he's remembered eternally, and his critics are scorned as short-sighted. Keep up the beautiful work!

Ohmygosh seriously??? I don't even take note if the skin/hair is green or blue or whatever because your colours are always so damn purdy!! Some people have no imagination. It's not like she has alien skin
Don't worry, I still haven't read this series. And I've only read the first book of Mortal Instruments because I got pissed at something in it and threw it away, only to be told that IT'S A LIE ... I really have to stop drinking so much coffee... sorry
