As much as I ship Makorra, having a lesbian relationship in a kids Tv show was a major deal.Β You can see how from that show, more and more cartoons have added in characters that support the LGBT community.Β Having gay disney characters, having people in the crowd from star vs the forces of evil beingg gay, and in Voltron Legendary Defender, the writers are planning on having some LGBT characters, and are being very secretive about it (meaning that it's going to be a big deal!)Β As much as I don't personally ship Korrasami that much, I still believe that it was a big deal for the LGBT community, and helped many people grow to realize it's important, and having children learn these lessons are teaching them to accept people, of all sexualities.
