This is the shittiest coloring job I have consciously let slip by. It's fanart, it's never going in the portfolio.As a small project, I decided to take a small dialogue from an already established/existing game so that I can get back into comics. Because for some reason I am against posting single pages of my own work. Because I am dumb.
Also because I am a complete and utter loser I just went with the Culling. I was always a fan of that whole thing before I got into WoW.
p.s. for those of you who aren't into warcraft/don't like warcraft/are getting laid, the blonde guy turns evil, the bearded guy is awesome but dies, and the chick bangs everyone.
p.p.s. I am the only person utterly disappointed that they removed Arthas' monstrous eyebrows ([link] )

That aside, luff the comic. ^^ Your design on Uther is incredible! :3 Arthas looks a bit off, but I can't place how, so close enough, lol. (Maybe the hair..? I'm not sure.. o,o) Jaina's nice though, and the backgrounds are win. ^^

This is so much better than the game's ugly 3D. Shame on Blizzard for that! I honored them so much for WC2 and SC...

I know in the instance, when you uncover the crates some of the guys are like, "What the fuck is this?" but... yeah.

One day they're going to learn to hang bobbles and things from their eyebrows.

They'll be like Cap'n Jack Sparrow, and just put pretty baubles into their eyebrows as mementos of of where they've been. You know, feathers from majestic beasts they've slain, coins of exotic lands they've visited, scales from dragons they've bested. Eventually they will become so heavy that they will hang down in front of their eyes and then they'll rip out their eyebrows, and just look like they're permanently surprised.
It will be a great day.

Oh Jaina definitely whored herself out, not just to Arthas (lessee, Kael, Thrall, Arthas, who else?)...although you do wonder if that's part of the reason he became the icy bastich he is now...
I'm also disappointed by the lack of his huge eyebrows. Made the character that much more likeable later as a villainous worm. Come on, you knew it was coming. King living through his son and all that jackassery - it's never good for a young Prince to have a father overshadowing your every move like a goddamned hawk...
Onto the comic, I love the foreshadowing mood, the oncoming storm as it were. Arthas's bleak tone versus Uther's angry one, and the level of calmness versing his authority is wonderfully done. The rat eating the plagued grain and shown as deceased is also a nice touch in that last panel.
And being a WoW player, CoT is the best instance in the whole game. I will run any of those babies for the sake of being a WoW Lore fan. CoS is one of my all-time favourites, watching Arthas as he was as opposed to the freaky biatch he turned into later.

I know a lot of players who don't like Jaina because she's pretty much gotten it on with all their favorite characters. My personal favorite is Uther, which, thankfully, she hasn't gotten to. YET. EVEN THOUGH HE'S DEAD. SHH.
Yeah, I wasn't a fan of Arthas' model in CoT. He looks really out of place compared to the other character. Plus they REMOVED THOSE DAMN EYEBROWS. NOOO. But yeah, it gave him character.

The human campaign in the original W3 and the undead campaign in TFT were my second favorite (after the Night Elf campaigns).

I loved him in Wrath. I started playing again as a Death Knight and did about 80% of the WOTLK quests. Dropped the game again when I got to 80 lmao.

Apparently they let it slip up that they're making a Warcraft 4. At blizzcon they said "Starcraft 2 is using the same engine that Warcraft 4 will use". Not sure how they'll do that since WoW kinda put the story/universe in eternal limbo.

Yeah, I was actually telling my friend that. I feel really bad for her. She's a -HUGE- fan of the Warcraft series, but -loathes- WoW as she feels its kind of ruined her favorite franchise. I can't blame her, and I mean, at this point if they were going to make another Warcraft it'd feel kind of... watered down. Especially if they release that patch where you raid against the Lich King himself.
Unless they have a global annhilation of some sort happen, why is anything challenging anymore when you have 8 million of the best people (level 80's) on the planet?
I'd be shocked if they're making a Warcraft 4, as their next title is an unnannounced next-gen MMO, and that's not going to be revealed for another 3 years.

We're actually doing something similar in one of my classes right now - taking a script for a comic we've never read and illustrating 3 pages of it, redoing the designs and all that.

the art is gorgeous, naturally, but i'm not sure about the pacing of this comic. it goes by so fast! the reader is getting kind of smacked in the face with the characters.
