Description This is a sidewalk in Chernobyl, Ukraine. I'm sure most people remember what happened here (for those who don't, it was abandoned after a nuclear reactor exploded the nearby power plant). I've always had a fascination with this place, I mean, where else can you find an ENTIRE city thats just been completely abandonded like this? I drew this in my sketchbook with sharpie permanent markers. It took a suprisingly long time to draw and afterwards I wanted my hand to fall off... But I'm pretty satisfied with what came out I think I'll practace more with these things in the future....

there aren't too many places like it in the world. i recently found it on google earth, its strange seeing a city with a population of 0

Actually, there are some sectors of Pripyat wich kind of remind me the city where I live in...
