Wondering, what's your take on this idea for a book cover?ย (Naturally depending on the subject matter.)
But say "reverse" the image, think it might be more enticing?ย (And perhaps a tad "lighter" shade overall.)
Meaning, to have the darker edge nearer the spine... and thus the light streak towards the page-opening side.
An idea I'm considering.ย (Actually for sort of an erotic-romantic fantasy with a Game of Thrones ambiance.)
(One could then easily wrap the same photo around to cover across the back.ย Just a thought.ย No promises.
Still have editing to do before finished.)ย What would you usually charge for the photo, and permission to use?
Curious.ย After all, photo is one thing; then have to pay a cover designer to incorporate text, titles, etc.ย

That would be astoundingly affordable.
But will keep you in mind.
Doing such, requires a minimum of 300DPI from the source/download, to transfer elsewhere
(from me to a cover designer). ย I have a novel in progress,
and two books of poetry brewing in my computer.
So we, in time, may be after something, once it gels more.
