Description
Before I work on the next page of my webcomic, "The Champion of Omnitron", I thought I would add in a scene for my Transformers: Prime fanfic, "Smokescreen's Destiny" where Megatron meets June Darby for the first time, and he intends to use her as bait to lure the Autobots into a trap, but while he's holding her captive, he takes a liking to her, but June is not interested in the mech who just kidnapped her.

The cool night air hung heavy over the Nevada desert, a silent witness to the unfolding events. June Darby, weary from her shift at Jasper's Hospital, sat in her car, preparing to leave. Her senses were on the edge, her thoughts focused on the comforts of home. Little did she know, fate had other plans.

In a thunderous crescendo of metal and power, Megatron descended upon her world. His colossal form eclipsed the car, a dark titan with a purpose that sent shivers down June's spine. Panic gripped her as he tore through the steel frame, hauling her out with a force that defied reason. The car, once a sanctuary, now lay discarded like a forgotten relic.

Captured and ensnared in the grip of this mechanical colossus, June's screams echoed in the desolate canyon. Megatron's cold calculation was evident; he sought to wield her as a pawn, a lure for the Autobots he so despised.

As the night wore on, amidst the shadows of captivity, Megatron issued his demand to Soundwave. A message, a trap set for Optimus Prime and his loyal band of Autobots. Yet, in the stillness that followed, Megatron's gaze lingered upon June, a curiosity unbecoming of a conqueror.

At that moment, he found himself drawn to her, an inexplicable fascination for this fragile human. June met his gaze with defiance, a spark of determination burning within her.

"You will regret kidnapping me, Megatron," she declared, her voice resolute.

Megatron, undeterred, met her gaze with an arched metal brow. "Oh, I highly doubt it, my dear. The Autobots will come for you, but this time, I will crush them. As one of their human allies, you make for an enticing target."

June sighed, weariness etched in her features. "Great. First M.E.C.H and Airachnid, now Megatron and his Decepticons."

"Have no fear," Megatron rumbled, his voice strangely reassuring. "You need not worry about my intentions, Mrs..."

"June Darby," she supplied, a hint of defiance in her tone.

"June," he repeated, the name rolling off his metallic tongue. "What a pretty name. I am Megatron, leader of the Decepticons. Fate has a curious sense of humor, bringing us together under these circumstances. I've seen you before at the Autobots' den. You're Jack's mother, I presume?"

June nodded, her eyes narrowed in scrutiny. "Yes."

A pause settled between them, the tension giving way to an unexpected moment of candor. "I must admit," Megatron ventured, "you possess an unexpected allure for a human."

"Excuse me?!" June's incredulity hung in the air.

He quickly amended, "I meant no disrespect. But... in person, you are even more striking. Are you single?"

June looked at Megatron with disgust. "Are you attempting to flirt with me?"

Megatron's optics glinted, a hint of amusement dancing within. "Perhaps."
