Hehe, this started out as a little doodle I had in my sketchbook that was calling to me to make it an actual illustration. I thought it would be nice to see Faye and especially Ed in kimonos ^___^Related content

When I first saw Ed I thought she was a dude. Then as I continued watching it turned out she was just a really quirky girl. And I really enjoy her and Faye. And this looks nice. The kimono makes her actually look like a girl.Β

You know... the guy who directed "Bebop" also directed "Samurai Champloo"... I wish he could've worked Faye and Ed in kimonos as extras in the background of the show somewhere!

Jumpin' jehosefat, mother of pearl, leapin' lasagna, great green gobs of greasy grimy... Well, you get the picture! This is one of those pics that I just stumble upon by accident and I find myself happy that I did. Ed and Faye wearing traditional Japanese clothing? It is nothing short of absolute genius. It makes me wonder what the Bebop crew would be like if the series took place in old world Japan instead of futuristic space. Spike and Jet would probably be ronins, Faye would probably be a noble's daughter (rebellious, no doubt), and Ed would be an orphan raised as a shinobi (being a ninja is sort of like hacking before computers, when you think about it). Would Vicious be a Yakuza boss? I have no doubt he would.
Enough of my rambling. You have managed to breath color and lines so well into this pic that it is virtually an exact replica of the anime. Faye and Ed look exactly as they should, and yet there is even a slightly HIGHER emphasis all your own, as indicated in their hair. I love Faye's expression. You can tell that even back then, she wants to hook somebody into a game to make some moolah. What can I say about Ed? You've done it.
Absolute perfection. You should be proud. Welcome to the list.

*.*' a bit confused. I thought that Ed (Edward) was a boy. I just started watching Cowboy Bebop on [AS] about 4 nights ago and I like it but im still learning whats going on. I know what they do and that Faye doesnt know much about where she came from (yet I guess) and how Spike got the dog. As to Jet and Spike I dont know much about them or even where Ed came from.

I wish there were more than just 24-ish ep's. That really stinks.
But I'd say my 2 faves outta that small (but unforgettably lovable and classic) series are Mushroom Samba and Toys in the Attic. Those 2 are HI-LA-RI-OUS!!!! lol
