My favorite of this bunch. Apparently being nearly stoned off cold meds has its high points. (get it? High?)Father X-Mas for those who don't know is a strange figure who can be seen wandering the streets of Salt Lake. I have not exaggerated anything on him. I figured it would be pretty funny if Sam Pi were his illegitimate daughter.
Honestly I don't know if this can be made into any kind of long running story. But hey for all intents and purposes it made a very odd series of doodles in my sketch book.

My God, yesterday father Xmas was sitting on our street, literally in the middle of the street on a lawn chair, blowing his goddamn bugle at anyone walking their dogs.

I honestly can't tell. He is just so odd. We think he might be crazy cause we have seen him at the mental health clinic once or twice, but then a lot of saner folks I know go there.

I've been to out-patient clinics, counsellors and therapy etc., interesting thing about mental health is that there is no defined "sane" and "insane", just levels of functionality. When I studied psychology, the DMV stated that Mental Illness was: "a deviation from the norm". And anyone who's done a little tiny bit of statistics knows that "normal" doesn't actually exist. The whole mental health system is freaky as fuck.
Poor guy though. I kind of hope he just enjoys people's reactions than if he's actually got a serious mental illness.
