BACKSTORY: Alexander's father, Anton was a sapper during the great war, he served proudly and grew an increasing resentment against the shirudo, which he would later pass on to his son. Anton married a cambrian girl, Anastacia, who's father was an officer. they lived in the norvestian regions, near the shirudo stretch, and when the war broke out anastacia fled to her homeland carring alex in her belly. he was raised mostly by his grandfather, who never had a male son to carry his legacy. when coronel Anton Eppelbaum returned they had alex enter the liceum.

As soon as he had graduated the karelians called upon cambria to deploy forces to fight alongside them, needless to say this caused a great conmotion in the family as alex had to cooperate with the shirudo against the nordvestians.

While he was away in one if his latter deployments during the rebellion, his mother passed from disease and, on the next one, his grandfather did too,( that's what old people do sometimes) but he woudn't find out untill his return to cambria. Out there he fell with a karelian tank driver woman. he gained ample experiece acting as a support for her tank división, till her unit was taken out by an airstrike.

When he came back he saw his father was being hospitalized due to alcoholism, a state in which he remains to this day.

That was it, he had wasted his life in pursuit of someone else's dream, saw the only woman who loved him die in front of his eyes by some random chance and in the name of a foreign power. now he was too old to marry and the only thing he knew how to do was to kill. It seemed like there was no point on going on.

but as the threat of a new war far bigger than anything he had seen before loomed over the horizon, perhaps this new generation of eager youglings can give him a new purpose?

ADITIONAL INFORMATION: used to be a heavy drinker but he managed to quit. now he is a heavy smoker. somehow is still fit. years of experience, a clear mindset (and a quirk in the point system of the game) made him into currently the single most deadly soldier of the world. they do not involve themselves much into politics but depises the aequalist party as a result of his conservative upbringing.
