I think Umbreon is better because of annoying it can be in combat Mean Look + Toxic + Baton Pass to a Pokemon strong against the one you had out = FRUSTRATING. Add in that huge defense and you've got yourself a real beauty. If it's any consolation, Jolteon is my 2nd fav.

lol, no i agree with you, I think Umbreon is great, but I'm talking about eevee's in general.. like.. for just the fans, the people who do play the game but aren't addicted to trying out those stratedgies.

Why do a lot of people like Umbreon better than most the others? Because not only can Umbreon look cute at some times and dangerous at others, which is a powerfully appealing combination, but the dark and mysterious have often attracted many people, including myself

personally i think his in-game moves need improvement.. he has barely any good dark-type moves... but thats not what i use him for so it doesnt matter much to me anyway.
and I assumed that.... its almost the same way that so many people have wolves as their favorite animal...but still.
Jolteon's one of the originals. Umbreon can never beat that. ;D

Actually, like most any pokemon, it's all a matter of how you use them. Some are great for attacks while others are great to buy time etc etc. I really don't think the whole umbreon thing is a fad sort of deal. I personally had felt as if I had been waiting for my right sort of pokemon to come out, and umbreon just so happened to fit the bill. 'sides, the originals are all good and all, but after awhile they get old *shrugs* Why do you think they bothered coming out with more and more pokemon? To keep people from getting bored of the originals, so in a way umbreon can beat that. That's just my opinion, anyway.
