About Peridot: She was a former member of Blue Diamond's court and was assigned with many high ranking gems. She was an Era 1 peridot. Mainly used for lighting the way. But never for anything else. Peridot rarely spoke to anyone. When the gem war began she wanted to flee with other members of Blue Diamond's court but was abandoned. Leaving her on earth where she was captured by the rebellion and was shown the evil ways of homeworld to which she had already known about but didn't dare think anything badly of her diamond or homeworld. She didn't speak to anyone until she met Orange Sapphire who which she had seen before as one of Yellow Diamond envoys to the gem she was assigned to. She felt a connection with Sapphire and opened up to her slowly.
