first of all.. i'd like to say that hue/saturation is the greatest thing that ever happened to photoshop. in fact its the greatest thing that has ever happened to ME. well that might be a bit extreme O_o; i constantly play around with tones until i get what i want. like on this one i'd say 30% of the time spent on it was getting the hue right O_o;but anyways i LOVE this vexel. a lot. like. just wow. i'm really proud of myself. for once o_O; i love the pink shadows and yellow highlights. it gives it such a soft feel. and also i think i'm getting better with blending gradients. well at least i hope i am =X

I'm not even a hundred percent sure what vexel IS ( I am not an artist, obviously) but I love it more than any other type of art. There's just something so colorful and beautiful about it, this is no exception.

so... i put on the title song, and just stared at this amazing work of art... and i'll tell ya- the expression on her face, and the whole mood this gives off, goes really well with the song. intentional or not- i think it's true. the choice of colors really makes it come to life for me- i just love how much detail you put into the eyes as well. i can honestly say... well, i don't know what to say.
