Is there a particular name for the bent wing on the Corsair?

Funny thing, after watching Battle 360ΒΊ yesterday I installed back my old copy of Combat Flight Simulator 2 in my computer.
The seagull wings give to the Corsair a unique appearence, and your painting is superb.
Great work.

Great painting, but is it me or is that Zero the movie version? Where they rebuilt an AT-6 Texan trainer as a Zero for films. The highly swept forward edge of the wings is what seem to be the give away for me, though it could just be the angle as the rest of the fighter seems fine.
Otherwise, great work!

Interesting,I don't know why Japanese Reisen fighters couldn't shoot down that many of those
blue american planes I done simulations and I find it very easy. My grandfather left the Air force
of Japan to go into the Imperial Army.he had shot down 19 american planes including one of those
cosair planes.

Another amazing piece! The Corsair looks amazing, and I love the blurred smoke coming from the Zero... Kinda has a sense of speed like that- at least, to me, anyways
And now, to nitpick:
Everything's pretty much awesome, but, I can't see the gun cannons, and, shouldn't that wingtip light be green on the right wing? Unless, of course, that's not even a wingtip light at all...
Minor stuff really, and it's not like *I* could draw like that, anyways XD
*Bows down to your skillz*

This is so very sweet, even started me reading the autobiography on Boyington I picked up. I'm going to have to pick this print up after I redesign the office I think. If your ever in need of any reference photo's let me know, might just have some, might ven be in my gallery since it's all planes.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero looks perfect. My only bit of crit is that I can't see the gun ports on the Corsair.
Beautiful work.

The opposing directions almost make Boyington look pompus, just cruising away with the knowledge that he gets to add another flag to his plane....

Great Painting! The F4U Looks God-Like, but the Zero is kinda... well.. I'm not sure how to explain it... unproportional maybe. Mainly on the wings. The Flames could use some work and the Smoke is a bit dull, fo a fire it needs to be more black. The Piolot in the cockpit is a great touch, and it looks good, but he's a bit ridgid, maybe if you had him glancing backward or at the zero it could turn out better.. he's also a bit high in the seat. One other thing about the F4U if anything would be the tail, it's a bit straight up for the plane being slightly tilted. (maybe I'm just paranoid) Also, I can't find the landing gear, I know, this is a bit picky. Sorry. I do not remember wheather the Corsair had LG that folded in or to the side. Otherwise, Great peice with tons of detail! I'm attached to this and the Tally Ho due to my love of WWII and those who commemorate and honor those who fought in it.
You're a great artist! Keep it up!
