I used Photoshop CS6 to create the icon.

I haven't made any recently but I can make some for Winter 2013 if asked for (only the shows i'm watching - [link] )

I am currently on CS6 but I believe you can download CS2 for free if your not willing to pay. I feel that after you use the basic tools on Photoshop, using Photoshop becomes easier.

I can make an After Story icon. I think starting Spring 2013 anime i'll just be doing the newly release anime into icons as most animes will have icons for them anyway (after some searching of the web).
