This is Larvearth’s final evolution, the mighty Atlanoth! Upon emerging from its cocoon, Atlanoth will furiously begin eating all the dirt it can so its muscles develop. This dirt also helps form a protective carapace around its body, as well as coating the edges of its impressive wings. Look at that wingspan! With its power, it can fly for hours without rest. Think about it; you’d practically be riding on Mothra’s back!

Inspiration for this mon comes from the Atlas moth, one of the largest moths in the world. I also took ideas from the legend of Atlas, a Titan from Greek Mythology who had to carry the heavens on his back after the Titans lost against the gods. Although in Atlanoth’s case, it’s not being punished. It’s just a really big strong moth.
