This birb is a very intimidating figure. The way she's framed in this picture, especially with the brighter area nearly giving her a sort of halo, makes her seem very powerful.
Of course, that very hard stare she's got going on helps too.

It amazed me how you can use so many brushes in one piece and they all mix together so well, I really can't do this digitally. XD
I like the design, and the symmetrical composition really help Β empower the subject here, the color contrast is beautifully done.

Aha, thank you! I always trying something new at my each new painting, so i never use the same brush, technique and etc, i think it helps to become more flexible with art and benefit the learning speed!
I don't really a big fan of simmetrical compositions, but sometimes they can be useful too
