Last time I've drawn any city scene was probably like 7-8 years ago. I just can't do it, but it's finally time to learn it from basics and make hell lot of speedpaints to prove I can.This one came in 1 day full of doodling and matte painting. I overdrawn matte too much and fcked up perspective few times, but WELL!
I'll probably try to mix it with 3D next time.
Wacom Cintiq HD, couple of hours doing few drawings over one... I guess.

Ależ to jest super! Bardzo mi się podoba, że wszystko się tak odbija na drodze jak po deszczu i że ten budynek po lewej wygląda na dość start a po drugiej stronie ulicy jest taki jakby biurowiec, lubię takie starcia styli w miejskich widokach. Bardzo mi się podoba też, że mimo, że miasto wygląda bardzo futurystycznie, samochody wyglądają na takie stare amerykańce
No i oczywiście kolory jak zwykle wspaniałe
W ogóle wrzuciłaś to tak dawno a ja dopiero teraz się zabrałam za ogarnianie devwatcha

But really - thanks, I really couldn't say if this piece was good or not after drawing it - I've never ever drawn a city alone like this, but I will probably draw more now

You did a wonderful job on this speedpaint. I can see the brushstrokes and whatnot, and can guess at a few techniques you would have used, but I really love seeing that evidence.

This is freaking great. I love the colours and the lights ! It's really detailed, and it has a mix of old and new buildings, I LOVE it. I also like how it seems blurry. It has a nice atmosphere.
