It looks like I have not done enough research on the Headless Horseman story. I assume you were talking about that Tim Burton movie "Sleepy Hollow" where the Headless Horseman was portrayed as a sort of slasher villain decapitating victims with a sword.Β
I also assume that the part of the Horseman being a Hessian warrior was just a little something added for the film as a way to build some character out of the villain but, as it turns out, that's already a fact given by the original story itself.Β
