I'm neutral when it comes to Twilight. I've read one of the books, and saw New Moon, and I didn't think too much of them.
I don't think Twilight of itself is bad, I think the obsessive people in the fandom are what made it bad. The team Edward and team Jacob stuff went way out of hand, in my opinion...

I know this is late, but Stephenie Meyer IS a good writer and author, its just that its the wrong people reading the books/wathcing the movies, I'm not -that- obsessive about twilight, but I must say I like The Host ~~ not for the romance, but how it somewhat makes you have to think.. at least if you got my mind XD
Plus, there still are those people who simply enjoy some entertainment, those people should be allowed to read those books ^^ not saying you want noone to read them, but still, in a passive way it sounds like thats what you say @@
