Description I finally finished my dragon. Just in time for Christmas. The client is quite pleased as am I. I have done mimimal photoshopping simply to erase the fine wires that hang it.
I t was going to be a weathervane but I went a little deeper into detail than was expected. I'm betting my client hangs this in his house rather than mounting on the roof. The form and composition begs to be hung or suspended rather than being mounted on a straight rod...It's fabricated in welded steel and is 41" long by 24" wingspread.

That is an amazing dragon! And I suppose the dragon spits water right? I mean... if mounted on the roof... love the idea

Hey Ninina-nini,
No, hopefully they'll keep the dragon inside ,only because it will rust. But of course I have no control of that once a piece is out of my hands...
Your sunny fruit bowl is lovely! It gives me ideas...
What is APO ? I'm not familiar with that term. Obviously something to do with fractals...Please advise.

Apo is just short fo Apophysis which is the program that you can draw fractals with.

I'm glad my fruit bowl gives you ideas

It was such a blast, and so effortless.
I think I have a new friend in this client. He and his wife want to come over for dinner...

when we're passionate about something, things take a fluid form and it flows...i love it when that happens. a good friend out of a client is always good...i have plenty on my end and they all bring something new in my life. such a treasure.

A treasure ,true.
I think this is also a reflection and benefit of the many sacrifices I've made to do what I LOVE to do for my way of making a living. My work is my pleasure. This reality has a somewhat contagious effect, especially amongst those that ARE NOT DOING (for whatever reason) what they love. Many of my friends seem to gain some refreshment by my reconciled eccentricities,LOL.
Interestingly,we as artists are SYMBOLS. We have certain rights and freedoms that the rest of the populace sort of romanticise...On the surface,we symbolize a freedom and way of life that is very attractive to many who are "restricted", though they have NO CLUE as to the discipline it takes to make freelance art your avocation...
