Finally I don't have any conventions lined up every weekend so now I can work on stuff...for youmacon OTLI traded conventions in for tests and homework too
and now I have become so sick OTL I really just want to go to bed and lay there forever not studying for my Nihongo.

I think you did a great job on portraying these characters and their poses. You can see how much they trust and need each other and that they connected through their hands. It's a really good idea and the colorful and bright background gives this a really harmonic feeling. The coloring is pretty much perfect, I like the shimmering lights and the colors you have chosen. However the anatomy is full of mistakes so you should try to improve your skills. Their heads are too big and their legs are too short. Their bodies look a little bit stocky. But in general it's a really nice picture doing both Mika and Yuu justice.
