you amaze me again. i love the contrast and texture you've created here. how did she stay still for an 8 second exposure? incredible.
i only issue is that the tones on her leg don't match her arms and face. it could be natural, but for some reason i notice it and it takes me out of the illusion of the photo. i almost hate to bring this up, as i know what a perfectionist you are...
keep up the stellar work my friend...

i'm sorry, what i meant to say was that the tone on her face doesn't match her arms and legs. but i realize that's a silly point. i mean, they are usually different anyway, right? but in this case, i do notice a certain texture on her legs and arms. are they freckles? speckling? it doesn't really bother me, but like i said, it takes me out of the illusion. i appreciate that what you're trying to do here is a bit out of the oridinary, which i applaud, so i'll just accept it as your choice for this piece.
seriously good work my friend. you are quicking becoming one of my favourite shooters on dA. you continue to inspire.

Now I feel bad...
I didn't take your comment as a negative one my friend. Nor do I feel that it was silly. Your observations are corrrect. There is a difference on the texture. Marketa has no freckles on her skin in reality. I think it has to do with me trying to correct the colours and the lights and shadows. On my screen it looks a bit grainy but I think it's because of the exposure and my corrections. I think that what kept the texture on her face intact was probably the makeup. I will look in my negatives in case I have a photo of her face with this makeup on. If I find one I will work out a way for you to see it. I remember that before we went for this "look", we tried to give her a "kabuki" (spelling?) look but we couldn't back it up with any clothing or any accessories so we changed it to this style.
Thank you again for your wonderful comments. You have a kind heart my friend.
