What's really impressing is the puzzle. At the moment of solving had i time to realize the atmospheric mood of the picture. You playing with lights and fog.

i love the idea of "fucked up future" art
i see this as the beach is littered with dead whales
because so many are dying
and the kids just play there anyway
because it is still nicer than a lot of places

Thanks for your kind words and your reflexion about this pic. I think everyone can see what he wants, this is the real drank of any arts. But my inspirations come from a difference between two worlds : one represents the adults with his capacity to destroy, and the other one with the children, innocence and vulnerability. This is the base of every humans and maybe what is distinguish the fear in us. I think that is why we can't resolve the big problems on Earth like war and pollution. Human is complex !
For your question, I use Illustrator.

Oh wow....amazing job. Absolutely amazing...it's like the kid survived being in the mouth of the whale when the whales got beached....or he's hiding from the rain in the whales mouth or...so many other possibilities. This picture was well done. Excellent job, especially on your constant detail.
