Dear Cayden Bennet,
Thank you for being my character. You have been the most forgiving, loyal, and loving character I could have ever asked for. You've stuck with me through the worst days of school and the most outrageous story lines. You've endured countless edits, adjustments, and appearance changes. You don't seem to mind the ridiculous hairstyle I've given you either. You're smart, sharp, and lovely. You risk your life in every plot, and you never fail to bring me entertainment and comfort. Thanks for being such a good friend and beautiful character. I love you.

I realized that around this time (maybe?) about 6-ish years ago (?) I first began designing this character. Cayden has been my favorite OC forever because he's like my imaginary friend. He's been with me through some bad times, and I don't think I'll ever be bored of him. This portrait was designed to be like an ID picture for his government ID. It even features a hint of a smile from him, which is a true rarity. Here's to you, Cayden.
In other news, school is starting again so I have to go back to the real world.

That's awesome... It's so great when you have a character like that. <3 Redbird's been mine. ...Also, six or seven years ago. I was in sixth grade.
I love his hair though. I love the way you draw it- he totally reminds me of a human version of Klub.... who I've had a reference sketched of for months but haven't gotten around to coloring. So hopefully we can compare the two soon.
