OK... let me start by saying that you already know I am a FAN OF YOUR WORK!!! Now that we have that out of the way ... My first thought was... "The lighting is unorthodox, but it works and it gives the image really great texture" (that was prior to reading your comment on lighting). This is not due to my fascination with only having great things to say about your work, It just so happens that I think one of the beautiful things about art is that even the nuances created by "mistake" (if it can even be called that, with a pleasing end result) can give the overall work additional beauty and character!!! *WHEW* I hope that made sense!!!
