Spiders do look pretty alien. Did you know that in order to move, they have to pump blood into their legs? Also, there's around 35, 000 species with around 12 that are dangerous to humans. Most species have 4 pairs of eyes.

Yes, some feathers change color depending on the angle you look at them because of their complex structure - it's quite interesting... like when you crush a blue jay's feather it turns grey.
