My first upload.. and a pretty old one, too.This is a pic of Houlihan from the book Abarat (written by Clive Barker).
People who know the books will surely realize that he's not really looking like him at all.
thats my slashy fangirl version.The scan isn't worth mentioning.. I take what I can get -_-.
(I am so oldschool.. could someone teach me how to use Photoshop etc?)

I think the drawing itself is quite amazing, but you spelled his name wrong [it's Houlihan], and where is the checker pattern on his cheeks? I just see the little slash marks. It's very realistic though!
