This is nice. The depth of field is good, and I really like the composition. Plus, the bird is super-cute. 
The only thing that's bugging me is that the bird is a bit blurry. I'm not sure if it's just blurriness due to the resize, or the image itself is a bit soft. But you should probably sharpen it up at bit.
Apart from that, I really like this. You have just the right amount of empty background space, which draws attention to the bird. Good job.
