howdy all

i don't usually do fantasy creatures since my knowledge of animal anatomy doesn't translate well to the digital artboard.

but i thought i'd step out of my comfort zone and give it a try.

this is based on 's character Radgar.
i took a few artistic liberties with the design , hopefully Chadosia won't be too disappointed

took me roughly 4 weeks on and off, between studies.
painter as usual
followed 's tutorial on you tube [link] , which is probably why the character came out fierce instead of benevolent.

EDIT: had to adjust the contrast

EDIT prtII: the amount of s are ridiculous want to thank everyone who 'ed so far. I'll get around and thank you all

anyway, it's all a learning process.
