More watercolor pencil practice. It's a different medium than what I'm more typically used to; I'm so accustomed to digital and acrylic paints, where you can lay in the lights last of all and those over top of whatever dark colors you already used. Having to work in such a way that the light bits remain untouched throughout the entire process...well, it's just different. That's all I can say. Still has some really nice effects I wouldn't mind achieving someday, though, so I'll keep at it.

Also, I've created a Tumblr intending it to be an (attempt at an) art blog. It'll probably have more sketches and scribbles and work in progress posts than DA, but fewer memes and quite possibly less fanart. The more serious or original pieces I'll probably post in both locations. We'll see how it balances out.
