Aww, that stinks that there's no good way to get rid of those walls, but I know you couldn't resist posting this! I can't believe how clear Malia is in this shot; her teeth are so sharp and in focus! You're so lucky that you got to witness a training session; it's so rare to be able to see something like that, no matter where you are!

I just live with the obstacles down there. The wall is part of hide-and-seek. Without using it for hiding, I wouldn't get a pose from all 3 so I try to get square as best I can ... but then other guests get into the picture so (these 3 attract a crowd fast) ... I just live with whatever I can get down there

Meh, I don't mind it.
Most people come from thousands of miles maybe once in their lifetimes and this is probably the only time they can get that close to these amazing creatures. I get to see them all the time - I don't mind giving up the space for others to see the whales. In fact, I mostly lead Trua to different windows (he follows me for some reason)so as many people can see him looking into their eyes as possible - especially children ... I still get all the pictures I could ever need ...

They are a lot of fun
It was just these 3 in the underwater viewing for the whole afternoon ! They even had 3 training sessions with them in the UW Viewing (2 sessions with all 3 and one session with Malia).
