Just reading your description... how much would it have sucked if he *hadn't* been recruitable in ME2?
He was a dependable old friend, especially during those early stages, when the other characters' loyalties weren't clear yet. He's an honorable, yet tough-as-nails warrior - a good turian to have watching your back. And you capture that character marvelously.
I've been looking through your gallery, and I don't know if I'll be able to comment on everything I like, because there's so much. But let me just say here that the quality of your artwork is truly something great. Yet, what really stands out (at least in your ME-based drawings) is how well you capture the personalities of your subjects. To quote Professor Lombardo from 'The Simpsons', "You find the inner beauy of your subjects and bring it out for all the world to see."

Heh, you can't get this armor for him in Mass Effect 1, and the only way to get Heavy Armor for him is to glitch heavy armor from another species onto him - you find no heavy turian armor in ME1

Garrus baby
I barely know half the things about him, haven;'t even played ME 2 yet and I'm falling hard already.
He's just awesome.
I LOVE the way he's done here. Very smooth.

Hey, Garrus is my favorite too! Right behind Saren, of course...

Garrus is a hoss.
He kicks inordinate amounts of ass in Mass Effect 2, as well.

His armor sort of kinda reminds me of the Thermal Armor they have for him. Must be all the glowie lights. :3

Well done. This work has an interesting style to it.
By the way, Garrus is recruitable in Mass Effect 2. Interestingly enough, he goes by the pseudonym of Archangel.

The backround and texture you used on his armor are amazing. His eye piece lookes a if you can touch it.

Nice one, hope he will be recruitable. It would be lonely with just Shepard and Tali against the brutes.

OH, WOW. LOOK WHO SUDDENLY HAS TIME TO DO PICTURES OF /ALL/ THE CHARACTERS.
Bloody bastard.
It looks amazing, though.

The colour on his head is wrong. You did get the texture and scales right, but his skin is mostly grey, not pink.

Are you sure? He looks mostly grey on my screen.

Well to my eyes, the tones look identical. The in-game image has higher contrast, especially on the edges of his skin segments, but as for the hue itself, they look the same. Plus that screenshot was taken on Feros, an environment that actually lowers the saturation of the characters to fit in with it's lighting style. In fact, you'll notice that the in-game Garrus's neck has higher saturation than any part of my own image.

Looks fine to me. Perhaps you should get your monitor checked.
And the way you come about deciding whether or not the colouring is right is quite rude.
Haven't you heard of an artists' take on things?
Either way, there was a fantastic job, even if the colour is less than slightly off.
