Not encouraging? Is Fiddleford one of those who bought band-aids from Steve Pinnington? Given Fiddleford's history with band-aids...

Fortunately for him, he did not. But Stan's advertising style did not inspire confidence. There were costumes involved...

Could've been worse. I'm not sure how but, knowing Stan, he'd think of something. Did Fiddleford also appear in the ads? Besides having Windles-S, what else did Stan advertise about the laptops?
What exactly does Stan do (besides advertising) for the "chumps" he told his Ma about?

Fiddleford chose not to appear in the ads in person but a (sort of awkward) picture of him was briefly shown in the ad. Stan basically took what Fiddleford told him was so great about the laptops and spun it so it'd be more relatable & catchy (plus his usual outlandish claims, which in this case turned out to be true funny enough).
In Stanco., Fiddleford is in charge of research, development, and production while Stan is in charge of marketing/ads, public relations, and finance. There's enough check and balances in their system to keep Stan from getting super cheap and Fiddleford from being too impractical, so it works. Because of their great success, a lot of other companies/individuals try to market their products through Stanco, hence the never-ending line of "chumps" Stan was talking about.

Finance? Does Fiddleford actually trust Stan with that? He's begging to be robbed.
I hope Stan is careful about which "chumps" he agrees to represent. Does he make the decisions on this regard by himself or does he accept Fiddleford's input?

When I say finance I mean he handles expenses, analyzing profits & the overall budget. Mainly his goal is to maximize profit while keeping expenses dirt cheap (which is something Stan does naturally). However there are checks in place so that he doesn't go insanely cheap & try to build everything out of cardboard or something.
Stan does the negotiations but the decisions are not solo. And Fiddleford does his fair share of networking as well, but mostly with fellow scientists.

These checks are worth every penny.
Does Fiddleford's networking also include the military? I think so because canon!Fiddleford ended up becoming rich by selling patents to the government.

Is it an AU where McGucket never met Ford before meeting Stanley?

It's an AU where McGucket met Stan before Ford asked him to be his assistant. They still knew each other in college.

And McGucket never noticed the similarity? One'd assume he'd initially mistake Stanley for Stanford until noticing the hands with no extra fingers.
Did Stanford still try to ask for McGucket's help before trying another idea?

Nope he never did make that connection. But remember that he had a lot going on (getting married, starting a business) and he hadn't seen Stanford in ~5 years, so he never thought that some scruffy stranger he met in a bar was related to his old friend (even if he had the same last name). Subconsciously, though, I think he did realize that Stan looked familiar. It may have been one of the reasons he was so quick to trust him.
In this AU Ford never wound up calling McGucket because by that time McGucket & Stan were already successful & Ford (seeing that) wanted to prove himself on his own.

Fiddleford:
When he meet Ford:
"High expectatives and everything he saw amazed him, but later he got dicouraged by Ford, and his life gone downfall"
When he meet Stan:
"Low expectatives and everything he saw it coming, but I tought he later got his idea encouraged and now he's creating an enterprise with his partner".

Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying it. And don't worry, Fiddleford's regretting working with Stan. He's just saying that in retrospect trusting a random stranger with a criminal background was a bit desperate on his part (Though, I'm pretty sure he'd do it again).
