What Iβm saying about this is that the image is a bit gloomy, more dark color here, but it doesnβt bother anyone. This image is almost like Pablo Picassoβs blue period paintings. I have a hard time describing this picture, I canβt say why Sonic has that look, I canβt analyze this well and probably not anyone else. Such a blue color and background may be a melancholic style. Sonic is probably pensive or confused. This picture is also somehow cool, This picture can cause melancholy, sadness and depression for someone I think, but at least not for me. That's all what I'm say about this picture.

Ora's way of drawing emotion is a perfect representation of the concept of: "Show don't tell." No words need to be spoken here because Sonic's face tells the viewer so many things as well as raise many questions.
There's a slight sense of fear written on his face, but also a bit of eagerness as well. It's not so in your face that you can tell instantly right off the bat though, it's subtle, it's very very minimal, but it's there. Whatever Sonic is seeing or thinking about, it's giving him pause, something he doesn't normally do, since he's usually run like a madman into situations. So the gravity of whatever is effecting him must be vast, and Ora captured that flawlessly.
Normally, Sonic against a blue background that isn't a bright blue, usually spells bad since it would be harder to see him. But oddly enough here, I don't get that effect at all, if anything he stands out within the darkness. The lovely shading on his face and body add a nice tone of "Suspense" as he stares into whatever it is he's looking at.
THE EYES. I love them so much in this! Sure the facial expression itself shows the slight emotions listed above, but the eyes really sell it here since it's like he's staring into your soul. One thing I noticed is that they're not Sonic's usual shade of bright green, they're a more mute green, it sort of signifies the gravity of the situation, taking a little life out of his eyes, IE the color. Not to mention the eyes themselves speak volume to what's going on.
The pose he's taken, at least to me, can be interpreted in two different ways. One, the situation is making him so Uneasy that he feels a sense of fearing cold, so he's bundling himself up to counteract it. Or two, it could be an adamant stance of crossing one's arms, poised to stay grounded and no to budge against whatever it is he's staring at or thinking about. Of course, that could also be a sense of fear in of itself.
Overall. Ora's fantastic way of capturing emotion, either silly or very serious, is top notch! The picture has a very minimalist aspect to it, but it says so much that it doesn't need anymore added to it. Not to mention she's also fantastic wish shading and lighting! It even looks a little different from her normal art-style, which is very impressive!
