Thank you. I really like the old paintings of Ophelia...though one question always bothered me...if she's drowned, shouldn't she be face down? It wouldn't make for much of a painting, still...

Hello! I'm making a series of art videos about flowers, and I was wondering if I could include this piece in one of my videos. It would be set to an original classical-style composition (by me) about this flower. I'll be sure to credit you and link to your page if you say yes. Here's a link to see the kind of music it is: [link]

Reflective, meditative and sensual, enhanced with the beautiful rich colours standing out from the dark greens to black of the background. I like it very much.

Thank you...inspired by two things, a German expressionist painting by Hodicke (loved the idea, but the execution, not so much) & from Greek mythology- the lotus eaters...

The image does evoke a peaceful feeling. Lotus blossoms grow from the mud to rise above the waters cleansed and pure. The souls in your painting, I wonder if they too rose from the mud just to the surface but not above the water, such as humans are often limited.
Anywho, amazing work. That's all the rest I can say.

I just... well, wow. A hint of Pre-Raphaelite numinosity and Asian delicacy of coloring on the lotus blossoms, this is just.. so cool.

Thank you...it's a "remix" of an image I found in a book about dream images...the original is VERY expressionistic...not my style, but it definitely planted a seed
