this is the frog that lives in the pond my mom built in our backyard last summer. he actually came around last summer as a tiny fellow and has doubled in size and returned now that the pond is landscaped, filtered, and running again.i did not have a macro or telephoto lens when shooting this. he let me stick the lens 2" from him without moving.
though, when i poked him he hopped into the water. :chuckle:
canon 350d kit lens.
some bits are a little overexposed (oversaturated cyan there on his back for example) but, i'll forgive myself in the spur of the moment nature of the shot

concerning "overexposed"... you took the shot in a raw format? may you have a chance to reduce the overexposed spots ..
