Really lovely painterly capturing of misty (morning ) light....It's the intricacy of the tiny bright light on those tall grasses, suffused by the "muddier" gently fading in-and-back-out foreground and gently curving up, to the right, rounding toward th ehorizon and picked back up full-circle in the back ground that really captures my attention and holds it in this piece...Exactly like the human eye would experience it...One has a sense of standing where you must have stood, and being right on the cusp of you next step...

Fluent and charming aesthetic...

You have -truly- an astonishing (to me) mastery of the Impressionist style HERE, & then frankly, comparatively~ your mastery of other genres sort of boggles my mind...How the hell did THAT happen It's wonderful, though...I'm so happy people stil "see" this way.

I'm so glad you enjoy it as much as I do. I've always had a struggle as a technician. But I do have an eye for what is beautiful in the world. Only lately have I descovered/invented ways of getting around my technical ineptitude to get more of what I "see" into a painting.
So I opened the online gallery (just a few days ago) to see if maybe I could make enough to do this more full time and eventually give up my day job.

Any advice you could give on how we could make that happen is welcome.

Again, I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees the world this way. Thank you so much for your thoughts.

Impressive, it does look like oils, even though it's a digital painting. I love the way sunlight appears to be catching the tall grasses in the middle ground of the painting, while the foreground and distant ground has been kept muted. Very lovely.

Thanks but it's all digital. Just shot the photo upon which it's is based day before yesterday in the Florida Everglades.
