Saunders and his wife, Sasha. yep, I've finally revealed to you what Sam's mother looks like..
(not sure if I'll end up naming her Sasha though, but I haven't come up with anything better that I can recall, so for now: Sasha is her first name)

fun fact: the rings in their ears are wedding rings! :3 Instead of having the wedding ring on their finger, they pierced their ears with golden rings. Saunders has got two; the first one he already had before he met Sasha - he got it as a reminder of his childhood/teenage fiancè and first true love, Erin. He hasn't told Sasha about this though. When Saunders moved away from home, he promised Erin he'd marry her when he returned, but that day hasn't come yet. He keeps the wedding ring/earring just in case he gets to return one day and she isn't already married.
Sasha and Saunders divorced around the time Sam was four years old, and Saunders has been single since, not thinking he could find anyone he'll love as much as Sasha (and the whole Erin thing seems just too implausible to him after all those years), despite all their fights (verbal, of course) and that she didn't care much for little Sam. Saunders loved his precious little son, Sam, more than life, and saw that an alcoholic mother that was never there anyway and hardly even wanted to hug her son, was not something he wanted for his son. He decided to raise Sam on his own, with the help from his best friend, Terrance. It wouldn't be a problem, Saunders though, as he'd after all been left alone with Sam almost from the very day he was born. As soon as Sasha came back from the hospital, she went out on a party. She never wanted a child, called Sam an accident, and generally didn't care much for him.

Anyways, I wanted to draw these two. They're so cute together, methinks, and it's adorable to see Saunders so in love :3
and lol, he kinda looks like a lion rather than a dog with all that hair XD <3
