Am I the only one who thinks that Kaien totally looks like a mix between Ichigo and his dad? Grin + nose + the hair colour from Isshin, the rest is a copy of Ichigo. Only the eyecolour doesn't match. Cousin, half-brother, uncle, I don't know, but there HAS to be some kind of connection. oO

Some connection, i don't know, but i think that tite kubo wanted to make ichigo look like kaien... because they have the same believes... i remember byakuya saying something like this...
But it's sure that they look "alike" ^^

Kubo has those 6 faces or something he's re-using all the time, so naturally the characters look alike sometimes, but only with Kaien and Ichigo other characters actually point it out. Nevermind that the Kurosakis(except Yuzu, who's like Masaki) fit perfectly fine into the typical harsh, but kind-hearted Shiba-crazyness, personality-like.
Ganju and Isshin don't really look "alike", but there are some similarities, too.
It just seems fitting to me. But as long as there's still no mini-arc about Isshin we can only guess anyway. :/
