It's sort of a play on words. For example, "Bash gets his wings" "Bash gets his Flashwing"

Most bad tyrannical egomaniacs aren't always happy about failed objectives. Funny, Kaos either seems to be in a better mood or he doesn't feel like executing minions for failure.

I thought about the executing thing, but I've never seen Kaos actually execute/punish his minions in the game.
