   Name: Kyōkō Hibiya (罅箭叫喉)

   Occupation: Second Year student at UA, Part time waitress at a tea shop.

   Background:

When Kyo was born Hibiki was jailed due to accusations made by Kokujo, she'd told Hibiki that the child was not his, that Hibiki's brother, Shousen, had impregnated Kokujo, this was, of course, a lie and Hibiki knew it, causing him to violent violently attack a bed-ridden Kokujo and his brother. The rampage in the hospital and the building proof of his villainy was enough to send him to prison.

Kyōkō lived with Kokujo and Shousen for 10 years of her life, her mother had little if no love for Kyōkō, using her for experiments on quirks, Kyōkō would often go to school with numerous injuries. After the ten years, Kyo's grand-father Hayate realised the abuse and took Kyo into his care. When Kyo turned 13 Kyo asked if she could rent one of the apartments in the duplex Hayate owned, she got a job and was able to hold herself. She's been living in this apartment until all UA students were moved to dorms, her apartment is now owned by her father, Hibiki.
Due to having a poor childhood, Kyo was a tomboyish rebel in middle school (Jnr High). It seems that Kyo went to the same school as Himiko Toga, the latter admired Kyo's resolve and mystic when they went to school together, its unknown if the two got along or if they even spoke to each-other at school, but Himiko speaks highly of Kyo. Despite her rebellious attitude she took her studies seriously and always received excellent grades, this high achievement is what lead Hayate to trust her to look after herself in her own apartment at such a young age (Albeit he visited everyday with food and other stuff)

   Description:

Kyōkō has black unkempt hair with a long strand that falls down the middle of her face, then hair on the sides frame her face. She has magenta eyes that often appear tired or uncaring, she has near-constant bags under her eyes from sleep deprivation (Due to study). She is relatively tall (Same height as Kirishima) with a slightly androgynous body. She has built up a good amount of muscle to help her use her quirk to a higher potential. When in school she always wears her Hero costume's body suit under her uniform, as if she had to use her quirk while in the uniform the cloth would rip apart, that and she trains her quirk after school. Other than wearing her hero costume under her uniform she wears the rest as it should be.

Her casual wear is usually loose fitting clothing, she has a fondness for turtle necks (Much like her Father and Grand-father). She is also a big fan od Present Mic and his radio show and owns a few of his T-Shirts.

Before a large incident that nearly killed Kyo, and permanently damaged her eyes, Her hero costume consisted of a very similar Black body suit with red trimmings, black boots (Not as shock absorbent as her new ones), it also had a pair of Stylish black Safety glasses to protect her eyes and a pair of fingerless gloves, over her suit was a thick white jacket.

Now, after the incident destroyed her old suit, she now has a newer stronger body suit, a new denser jacket, a bullet proof glass visor with thick and resistant boots now made with rubber soles to negate electricity attacks from the ground, they also have a sort of suspension/bounce heal to help her jump higher and run faster, and full fingered gloved with padded insides.
In both Outfits she wears the spiked Ear-muffs to filter and isolate the noises and vibrations around her. When her glasses are changed to a visor/mask, the ear-muffs seam to be built-in to it.

Quirk: Resonance

Description:

The user can manipulate vibrations in nearly any way, only limited by their body and Organs. They can also emit vibrations from their bodies by vibrating their cells and molecules, the vibrations they emit have the potential to be much more powerful and are much easier to control, but they also have a higher risk of severely hurting their bodies than regular vibrations made by the sounds and vibrations around them.

The quirk is named resonance (instead of vibrate) as the user relies on the resonance of the vibration and/or sounds they emit/manipulate. The vibrations emitted from the user come from the inner workings of their body, ie: heart beat, organ movements etc. They can also manipulate sounds/vibrations they consciously make, lick clicking or yelling.

Kyo did not inherit her father's durability, so sadly she still suffers from the repercussions of her quirk, so she has the same limitations as her Grand-father, Hayate. She counter-acts the immense pain her quirk causes by sucking on dosed lolly-pops and hard lollies dosed with fast acting pain relief medication, these dosed sweets have been approved by the school and were made by Recovery Girl herself.
