You look nice; some of those girls have really good outfits. But the girl in front of you looks more like a Sweet Lolita than a Gothic Lolita.

Yeah, it was a real mixture. I didn't like the fact some girls didn't wear petticoats-crinoline. It made their dresses look awfully flat.

Yes, the dresses look much better with petticoats. It does seem a touch odd, considering how relatively cheap a petticoat is.

Yeah...but it would be considered the gothic lolita sub-genre of ero-lolita. Erotic or fetishized lolita. Not true gothic lolita though. But, ah...the fetish masquerade recently had a pirate themed event. Interesting...

Well, we can debate the finer points of sub-genres online if you wish, although I don't really have a very anal fixation on these classifications. Have we talked on msn before? I don't actually recall how we "met", or how I came to add you to my devwatch.

I apologize if I came off too fangirl-ish with this genre thing. But its something that is rather close to my heart at the moment and it is constantly being misunderstood and at times bashed by the ignorant. Just like when someone mistakens the Chinese traditional dress, the chipao as a Japanese kimono. It gets me a little angry because of obvious differences. Yes, we have talked on MSN before.
